I also meant to work in there that I have objects from different religions in my room and around my altar, each one something that speaks to me, a representation of a deity or force I respect.

My grandmother's crucifix in blue resin. Because it was hers, and her faith was beautiful and strong. Because there are ideals there that I respect, even if most of Jesus's modern followers are scarier than demons.

A silver Buddha. Buddhism might have been my religion if my path had gone differently.

A Bastet statuet. Cat Goddess, and given my love of the Egyptian magical practices and culture, she seems to belong there.

A tiny emerald Ganesh. I also have one on the altar at the booth. Being a practical business woman, I recognize that giving a bit of worship to a god of prosperity can't hurt !

Several pentacles. The idea of the balance of earth, air, fire, water and spirit has always clicked to me. Balance in all things is part of my views.

There are so many objects in my room that have an extra meaning, that are special on several levels. I have set up to be my sanctuary, in many ways.
