Tucson trip
Tucson was fun. And tiring.
The games were great.
The first one on Sunday afternoon was the Ms vs. Arizona Diamondbacks. It was warm, with a light breeze, and sunny. We all got a little too much sun. At Tucson Electric Park. The seats weren’t great, but I can’t complain. It was still fun. We were about the only Mariners fans in the area. It ended in a 7-7 tie.
The second game Monday night was the Ms vs. Colorado Rockies at Tucson Hi Corbett Field. These seats were great. They were still bleacher seats, but they were on the 3rd base line, right up from the Mariners’ dugout. Third row. This was a great game. Foul balls flying everywhere! One bounced about 2 rows behind us. Didn't catch one, though. We were surrounded by other Ms fans, so it was even more fun. This game ended with a score of 12-4! Yes, the Ms won!
That’s the highlights of the trip. We went, had some fun, and came home. I am very glad to be home, though.
DH and I decided it would be fun to take MY folks down for spring training. I think they would enjoy it. We wouldn’t get a lecture from my folks about having ONE beer at the game, that’s for sure!
Apparently the game at Hi Corbett Field was aired on Fox Sports. How do I know this? WE WERE ON TV! Several friends of my in-laws told them they saw us on tv. (hopefully I wasn't picking my nose or anything!)
