Well, I had a really lovely Christmas, and I hope you all did, too. :) I am so surprised. I got so many lovely things! And I hope everybody liked what I made for them. I don't have very much pocket money and I have a really big family, so I always end up making things for people. But it's sort of fun to do that sometimes. :)

While fairy tales and mystery novels may be fun for now, Virginia, I do hope you will consider expanding your reading material. The book I gave you was intended to help you with your progression at Hogwarts. Though Ronald has not become Prefect, I still have hopes that you could become one in your sixth year. Though sixth year Prefect assignments are rare, perhaps if you persevered, you could be the exception to that rule. Why, one day you could even be Head Girl, with a little more of my help at Transfiguration. Would you be interested in going over my texts again tomorrow?

Please understand, Virginia, that I shall be moving out of the Burrow soon, so my texts will only be at your fingertips for a short while. I am unopposed to lending, with the condition that you return, but this is the only time it will be so convenient.

Oh, I see, Percy. Do you really think I could be a Prefect? I don't know if I could do that, or be Head Girl, either. I try really hard at Transfiguration but it's my hardest class. I guess maybe if I gave up Divination next year I could study extra Transfiguration? I guess going over them sounds good then...

When are you moving? :(
