*gasp* I'm updating
First a story....
So I'm laying in bed last night, it's about 1:20am. All of a sudden, I feel water drops on my face. Took me by surprise, obviously. Few seconds later it happened again. So I was like, wtf, where's it coming from?! So I sit up and look at the window, which is right behind my bed. It was raining outside, so the water had to be coming from outside. So I'm looking at the window trying to see if it's open or cracked or whatever. But nothing. Jen wasn't moving, so I knew she wasn't getting water dropped on her. So as I'm staring at the window, Jen rolls over and I say, "Are you getting wet?" "No. It's raining." lol "Yeah, I'm getting wet." So I put my glasses on (haha, since I can't see), and look at the window again. Then stand on my bed and touch the ceiling to see if the water was coming from the apartment above, lol. It wasn't. I had no idea where it was coming from, Jen didn't know. So I turned the light on and finally see water dripping from the top right of the verticle blind tract, dripping down to the window ledge, splashing off of that and on to me. The whole window ledge was wet also - as well as my cd player that was sitting there yeah. Anyway...I put a hand towel up in there and held it there with a pony tail holder, lol. Needless to say, it took me a while to fall asleep. It started pouring and I was waiting for the whole freaking window to fall in, lol, or at least the soaking wet towel. ugh...
On a good note, rehearsal went very well last night. We were supposed to get out at 10, but didn't get done til 10:30, but that's ok. I think we got about 2 and a half minutes done. The song itself is around 7:30, but there's dialogue in the beginning and end that's gonna be cut. So it'll be less than 7 minutes. I'm so excited about it!! It's so hard to not sing along, lol, because I love the song and know it. But because I know it, I can really get into the dance, which is good. The guy who's singing it - who I thought was some famous guy but is just another student, lol - sounds almost exactly the same as this guy who I know who I've heard sing songs from this show. That's not really a good thing, it's actually a little creepy, lol. But it should be interesting....I guess.
I have rehearsal for Korry's piece tonight. That went really well last week - we got a lot done. It's very post modern - it's fun! Oh I'm so excited!! The performance for both of them - and all the other pieces, maybe 4 or 5 more - will be April 22nd, so keep the evening open!!
