(no subject)
woo-hoo, first entry of 2006!! *dance of celebration* *not really* lol.
I can't believe second semester starts on monday...blah. I was looking forward to it, now I'm not, it varies. I still don't have any books yet, hmmm....maybe I'll do that on Monday. eh, we'll see.
I went shopping with Kim today, bright and early. She called me around 8:40am. haha, I know I didn't fall asleep until after 4am. So I got ready and we went to the mall. I believe that Weather Vane is going out of buisness. I got two skirts (one was originally $30, the other $40) and a tube top (I've never had a tube top - I'm very excited about this! lol. Hope it stays up...) all for $10 -- what a deal!! The I got a pair of jeans and two tops from 5-7-9. Next time I'm looking for jeans, remind me to go to 5-7-9 b/c they have jeans that I like - not tight, comfy, etc. haha. Oooh, and I got a really cool necklace from American Eagle. It's kinda hard to describe and I don't really feel like trying, lol.
I went to dance on Tuesday, that was fun. I danced in toe shoes for the first time in about a year and a half...it was kinda discouraging. I thought that I might have gotten better just b/c of ballet - strengthening my feet and whatnot. Sigh, but no. I'm still a little bummed about that...And for whatever reason, I'm not all that excited about jazz. We're doing a song that other people have already danced to - it's by Janet Jackson, I think it's called "Together Again." It was at least 5 years ago, but still. I picture parts of their dance when I hear the song. It just kinda pisses me off b/c there's sooo many songs out there -- don't use one you've already choreographed to! ugh, whatever. Maybe he'll change his mind and chose a different song. I like the song and everything, but...pick a new one man.
I'm in love with "Wicked" lol. It's kinda sad really - my first love is a musical, hmm...oh well! I really am in love with it. I'm so interested in it. I want to see it as many times as I can. I'm so interested in who was in the original cast, what they're doing now, who's in the current cast. I want to be in it - hopefully in the near future -- Chicago isn't that far away and I would like to live there for a while. Get a part in "Wicked," get an apartment and a dog, lol, I'll be all set. :) lol. That reminded me of the end of "Chicago" when Roxie says, "Yeah, that's at the top of my list. Right after finding an apartment with a John." in reply to w/e Velma just said. Anyway....
I started watching "Phantom of the Opera" the other night, then turned it off b/c I didn't feel like watching it anymore, lol. I was at the part where Christine first meets the Phantom and they're in the boat and he's singing, "Sing for me!!" "Ahhhahahahahahahahaaaahhaaah" lol. It was there that I stopped it. Well I woke up this morning with that part of the song in my head. Maybe I'll finish watching it tonight.
Well I do believe that that is good enough of an update for now.
