moving
I usually don't post a lot of things here. To my friends on lj, my apologies for being absent from my post. I returned to Maryland to help care for my father after my mom died. My sisters had been worried about him being alone in the house and he had the neighborhood drunk, druggie and hoe as he referred to her help him with his meals and blood sugar. The youngest sister kept asking when you coming back? I was tired of the heat in Texas, my exes indifference to my daughter, son and myself. So we packed up last May and returned to Maryland. I'm glad I did it helped my sisters and my dad. I was going to work part time but as he became worse I ended up caring for him almost 24/7 until he died in December of last year. Several days after his death and right before Christmas my little sisters decided to email me a request: pay $1500 a month to stay in the house. That's all of my disability retirement pay plus some. I politely said no, they responded I had to leave asap, they had a buyer. Never mind the insurance required the house had to have someone in it. I finally had to tell the youngest one to leave me alone and to communicate to me through my lawyer. They cut off the internet and cable tv even though I offered to pay for them plus utilities to stay in the house and help clean up. As Hawkeye says on MASH no good dead goes unpunished. The older younger sister has been kind and helpful, thank you.
Finally my daughter and I found a place quite a distance away, moved in only to be told less than a week after moving in we would have to move again. Seems she failed to mention she was in financial trouble. She had a buyer come by today to look at the house in hopes of the person buying it. Not sure where we are going, I hope to recoup my deposit and rent so I have enough to put a deposit on another place. So if I disappear again, I'll be back.
I hope someday my sisters will understand the damage they have done to myself and my daughter. I doubt it, they are lucky I didn't post this on facebook.
