True Colors.

Evidently there have been some people talking shit behind Mine an My Wife's backs.

If you got something to fucking say to us, fucking say it to our faces.  You have my phone #.

That's fucking grade school shit to be talking behind our backs.

Lets sum it up.

First, we've gotten an email to end a friendship.  Done.
Thought we were being nice by trying to keep that option open.
Guess the old feelings of hatred just don't die in some.
That and butting in on things that don't even concern them.

Second, we got a letter (not a phone call mind you) basically stating that a friendship was on the rocks.
We're 'Too far away,' -fine, guess the advent of the internet and the telephone are too complicated to commence communicate with.
Doesn't matter that we traveled to visit during school despite my THREE jobs and 18 credit hours to visit.
But in the two years after that, couldn't get a visit back.
Guess we were just too far away.
Oh, that and 'circumstances with [my wife's] family' play a role in the dissolving of the friendship.
Circumstances that people don't actually know half the story about and yet we get told they aren't that bad and should just suck it up.  Another note, if this friendship was on the rocks, then this person should not have accepted a position they took in 2007.
If the friendship was really as rocky as they make it out to be, they should had the guts to just say no.
If our friendship is just not that important anymore, just say it.

In ending, its interesting how people's true colors shine through when they grow up.
Too bad those colors weren't more friendly.
