Wow, good day!
Okay so, besides the fact that I had to scrape ice off my car again this morning while still being sick, today was a really good day overall. I don't know what it was that made it so good.
Anyways, in philosophy I had to present my part of this project we're doing. My part was Science as a Social Institution. So what my group did is the two guys in my group (Jon and Nathan) went to the front of the school and hid a doorstop (a wooden wedge) in the cabbage patch (no, not the dolls... haha). But anyways, we had all of the students go outside and look for the doorstop. The first time, no one was communicating with eachother and everyone was looking in the same places over and over again. Then Miss Spiller had everyone come back over to us and then I explained my section and what it means. I said something along the lines of: "My section is about how when you're looking for THE answer to something, you experiment and end up getting a lot of wrong answers. But it's the wrong answers that lead you to the right answer. And if you split up, then you can communicate what you learned to help find the right answer, whether what you discovered is wrong or right." Then they went and looked for the doorstop again and a few actually got close to finding it, but they didn't. So anyways, then we went back into the class room and I told them that if someone had found the doorstop that they'd get a candybar. But since no one found it, I just gave everyone a fun size Butterfinger. Miss Spiller said that over-all I did really good. I'm so happy that I got it done on the first day of doing the project because now I don't have to worry about it anymore.
So anyways, after third period I went to Memaw's. Then we met Mom at On the Border. I had 2 empanadas and 1 crunchy taco. Damn... it was good. And I'm so full right now. I ate that at like 1:50 today and it's now almost 9 and I'm still full. Oh well. I just eat too much. The waiter dude was funny. His name's Bart. And he's just... LoL, he was funny, I'll just put it that way.
The thing was that it took really long for us to get our food. We were there for like thirty minutes before we finally got our food. So then I had to rush back to Memaw's so I could get my car and drive to the choir sectional. Yep, 'twas a fun day. And now I'm on the computer (I'm allowed to be this time) and chillin' with Gracey. Haha. Oh yeah, and I got an email from muh Corey. That totally made my day just so much better than it already was. I love him lotses :-).
