(no subject)
So I've promised to post in this thing everyday so here goes!
Today I had an interview at Lower Fort Garry to be a costumed interpretor. I would LOVE to have this job! It would be an amazing opportunity to become a better public speaker and teacher. There are also several English as an Additional Language (EAL) programs so that would be fantastic to get involved in.
I would also get May 12th and 13th off which is incredibly important.
It was pouring rain during my entire journey however and by the time I got back on the bus after the interview I was soaked and starving. I was so hyper through the whole thing that I didn't feel my fatigue.
Alex and I were out until 2.30 AM on Saturday at our Japanese Class Sushi Party, even though only half the class came. It was a ton of fun and we got to kneel traditionally. The food was delicious. We then went back to a classmate's house and watched one funny Thai movie and a relatively depressing but moving movie that Cheezy D needs to see because it's about a boy who gets a sex change.
I'm in my comfy clothes now and plan to be lazy until Wednesday morning when I have an interview for an administrative assistant position on Pembina. It would be a good back up but I don't get to wear a costume
I'm getting antsy about giving Alex her presents...I wish it were her party now
I've been so schemey I wanna show it all off.
