letter to my mother.
she doesnt ever listen to what i have to say so if i write her a letter she cant cut herself off....right?
Mom,
In my opinion Carlee and i are treated differently. For example: during spring break we went to Ruidoso. It was about 7 days away from my birthday. When i asked you if a friend could go with us instead of me having a party your response was "what do u mean for your birthday? And noone can come with us because i already told Carlee that she could invite Tara". Fine. I wasnt going to make a big deal out of everyhing because i thought it would benefit me in the long run. Then the day day we left i spent my morning folding clothes, clearing up the bathroom and kitchen while Carlee and Tara "played" in her bedroom. In my opinion Carlee should do at least 50% of the work because shes the one bringing the friend, not me. Another thing, everytime one of my friends come over you tell me to do chores but everytime Carlee's frinds are over, she doesn't have to do anything. Which brings me to another point. This entire school year I have had my friends over to my house about 5 times. Carlee has either Kimberly or Tara over at least twice every week. This school year, no one has spent the night. Tara has spent the night at least 8 times. I never used to talk on the phone. It wasnt until this year that I have started talking on the phone. Before I started Carlee would talk on the phone for at least one hour every couple of days. Why all of a sudden neither of us can talk to our friends? There has never been a time where I have been on the phone with someone for over 15 minutes without some type of interuption.
There is hardly ever a time where we go somewhere and I ask you to buy me something. In fact, i sometimes volunteer to pay for things you were going to pay for.
You have no idea what I do at school. I am in 3 Pre A/P classes and I have at least a 85 in all of them. I was one of only two freshman in the one-act-play this year. No one ever acknowledged that. I made it to state science fair. That was my birthday present. Just the other day i got an award for outstanding student in language arts. I am also in Student Council and Oral Intepritation.
Carlee is in cheerleading. Her lowest grade last nine weeks was in the lower 70's.
like Ive said before. Do you not apprectate the fact that I do all of these things? Do you think Carlee deserves these things more than me? It feels as though Carlee is being rewarded for getting low grades and I simply recieve a "well keep working hard". I am fine with that. I should get anything more tan that. But I would be perfectly happy if Carlee also got the same grades.
