Posted results. It was interesting to see the GAT results, and to note that I scored highest in the math/science/technology section. What the?
Also got notified that I'm into Melbourne music, which Jesse and Pat thought deserved a round of applause.
In other news, I'm a moron for saying I'd sing "Rejoice" from the Messiah for Christmas. It's quite difficult, to say the least, and I haven't practiced it in ages. I now have a week to get it to performance standard. Crap. Plus, it seems that pretty much all the music these people want for this funeral is alto, which, while I can do it, is not my most comfortable range.
Did you know that Mr Grant told his year ten music class that Georgia is more versatile than me because apparently I can't sing jazz? Shows what he knows. He's never asked me to sing jazz or heard me try. Just because I choose to sing classically doesn't mean I couldn't do Grant's crappy jazz standards or the songs beloved of Australian idol wannabes everywhere.. For his information, I had jazz in my mp recital and it was really good, dammit. Well, the adjudicator people really liked it, anyhoo, so I don't know who he thinks he is to judge. Poopyhead that he is.
I think I'll shut up now.
