Can life be so simple?
So I just got back from doing my out of pace activity with my UNI 101 class. My friend Erin and I went to this old jewish couple's house and brought them christmas presents. They were just the most adorable couple ever. They must be in their late 80's early 90's and the husband still tells her how beautiful she is and how he loves her. I asked Anne how long they've been married and she said "not long enough" then told me 59 years. There are only so many people in this world that are lucky enough to find that person that you just can't live without. I hope I'm only so lucky. The house was also filled with all these trinkets that the husband had made. There wasn't anything very extravagant but they were so proud of their posessions because they meant something to them. I think after everything that couple when through with the Holicost (yeah i know its probably spelled wrong) they aren't bitter and even though they hate their apartment they have each other. That's more than most of us can say. So onto a topic that the majority of us can relate to. So flannel boy. Learned a lot of gossip about him today. He's a total player. Like 3 people today were like "he's really nice when hes drunk" blah; but then that he drinks too much. I'm sure him and I would get along great. But yeah, everyone and their mother wants him. That's too much work and I'm not a priss pot. Sorry! Everyone was saying his big turn off tho is that he drinks too much. So to make a long convo short, you my friends will hear no more of flannel boy. He does sound like a pretty cool person to party with-- then again I think anyone who likes to get wasted would probably be pretty cool to drink with. For some strange reason I find the best drinking buddies are usually those player guys. Maybe they feel they need to drink a ton to sleep with all the people they do. Whateves, as long as I'm not sleeping with you there's no problem here. That's probably why at home I have my guy friends and my girl friends. Maybe I'll update later because I have no idea where anyone is.......
