1. Dolls!
Ahhh there are so many moments where I want bits of my doll hobby to spill over onto this LJ rather than keeping it all in that separate community that I toss all of my photos and babble in. BUT I HAVE SO FEW DOLL PEOPLE ON THE F-LIST. I feel like I want to meet more people in the hobby or just actually SAY something to some of the people I stalk or something, so that I could have more people to talk to about it! I mean, my dolls do consume a lot of my time and disposable income but most of all they bring me a lot of joy and inspiration, so it'd be nice to share it with more people. :3
AND YES I AM A CRAZY DOLL PERSON. Although I'm not one of those crazy doll persons, I hope. |:
2. OCTOPUS SHIRT.
I HAVE skyfalling TO THANK FOR THAT SHIRT. I love it tenderly, even if hitotsu disapproves of me wearing it out in public. SCREW YOU, JOHN. I love cephalopods. But really, I kind of expunge regularly on my love for them, so. :x
3. Goldfish
THAT WHICH I POST ABOUT VERY OFTEN. My fish are my babies. And certainly, I have had many babies die on me in the past year despite my valiant attempts to save them. Especially Boss, my beloved of not-quite-a-decade. And now I have my mad trio of wakin making things interesting. IDK, I HAVE ALWAYS JUST FOUND FISH TO BE VERY INTERESTING PETS. I mean, you don't have to lavish them with attention or anything, but if I feel like it I can just watch them for hours and hours, and they have personalities that I could devote a whole post to writing about and they swim after you once you've trained them to recognize people as food-dispensers. It's cute, although I yell at the new trio a lot. |:
4. SCHOOL NEWSPAPER/INDESIGN OMG AHHHHH
AHHH BE GRATEFUL FOR INDESIGN WHICH SOUNDS FANCY AND AWESOME (although I've never used it D: ). We had Adobe Pagemaker, which is so antiquated it's... I don't even know. alksndoiawbrdnas *SMASHES IT* But yeah, newspaper. MY LIFE IN GRADE 11/12. And the start of hitotsu declaring himself ruler of my existence or some shit like that. |: I had so much fun though. Despite late nights and late phone calls lasting 3 hours and wanting to strangulate our printer company and reallllllllly not liking one of our supervisors... it was life changing, dude. I might still go for journalism again one day, although I've kind of convinced myself that I just liked being editor and there's no way in hell I'd want to work through the ranks to get to that point, among other things.
It doesn't help that I basically did nothing during my lone year as a reporter in grade 10, and then John just roped me into the "interview" for potential editors and somehow they really really liked me and the rest is history. REALLY LONG HISTORY, MIGHT I ADD. God there was also much drama that I can't go into here without making this entry ridiculously long.
5. Fast speech :P
Ahhh you've probably only heard my voice like 3 times and you already associate me with fast speech?!?! I guess the way I'm writing this post isn't helping, because I'm honestly thinking of what I'm writing at like hyperspeed and my fingers can barely keep up with me. D: I'm having one of those days where I'm really hyper because I'm tired, I think.
Since I'm doing a speech disorder course right now, and we learned about cluttering vs. stuttering, part of me almost wants to self-diagnose myself as an-almost-clutterer-but-not-quite. XD" I know I'm not, because if nothing else, my language development is fine, kthnx. But either way, it's something I kinda want to work on. It's not good that I talk so goddamn fast sometimes that my mouth and brain aren't synching up and then I blank out or repeat myself in retarded ways or something. :x However, I'm sure some of my friends find me amusing and wouldn't change my spazzy hyperactive speech for anything. RIGHT GUYS? :D ... RIGHT? D:
