So I received an offer of employment via the co-op office. I have 24 hours to respond.
According to the date stamp, I received this in my inbox at 4:51pm. I checked my email at 5:30pm. Offices and services at my school typically close at 5pm. Today is Friday. I was previously informed that this position, if offered, begins on the 2nd-this coming Monday.
How exactly, am I supposed to have somebody receive my response in time?!?
Also, the official webmail service used by my school is an outdated piece of crap. I ticked off the ticky boxes saying "High Priority", "Receipt on Read", and "Receipt on Delivery". I haven't gotten any receipt for delivery, so I'm not sure whether this means my message(s) were sent or not. I've sent out two emails. Sure, my official school email is forwarded to my Gmail, and shit might get slowed down or lost even, but this seems kindaaaaa urgent. You know. Like. JUST A LITTLE URGENT YOU KNOW.
If the job goes to someone else because of this fiasco, somebody way upstairs is totally playing with me and even though my schedule will get whacked out with this job, I still wanted it, so I shall have to go cut a bitch.
Excuse me while I go keyboard smash some more. palikjkbfheihoailkjfkehajklf.
