(no subject)
This entry will eventually be linked in my userinfo and my upcoming layout (which is still in sore need of help when it comes to proper viewing in IE).
I never really thought I'd see the day I'd suddenly have enough active friends on my f-list to warrant a, "Oh lookie all the new people here! I should introduce myself properly!" post. Admittedly, most people here have been around long enough to either know me, or don't care enough about me to know anything, but hey, if nothing else, this will be linked in my userinfo to save me the effort of an actual profile!!! 8D
Most people that have by some miracle come to like me enough to welcome me onto their friends' list (usually after a long and rambling spam comment thread, from what I've experienced XD), stumbled upon me through the w-inds. fandom.
If you know w-inds., that is good. VERY good. If you know them not, you will soon enough. And if you don't like them, that's okay too. Just know that I positively adore them on every level that is possible while still retaining some semblance of sanity, so you'll have to get used to that.
Also, in this LJ and elsewhere, I essentially write like I speak. I've been told that I swing oddly from formal to informal... but in general, I'm just really overdramatic and outright strange in my speech patterns. When I write the word 'tis', I did not spell the word 'it's' wrong. I mean the word 'tis'. I'm not a totally psycho grammar Nazi, and I DO make unintentional typos, but I'm still a stickler for proper spelling and all that. But anyway, 'tis' is a common word in my vocabularly. As are other common stereotypes of Shakespearean English (eg. Hath, doth, thou, thee, etc.).
And yes, I talk like this in real life. But in real life, I also flail my arms around a lot while talking, I sometimes talk faster than I can think, and the way I speak throws people off at times because I'm really melodramatic. XD
This LJ is also 99% PUBLIC and I'm darn proud of it. If I don't write it here, then I probably don't want anyone to know. But be prepared for emo and lots of it from me. Though I have the courtesy to LJ-cut anything and everything that you could potentially want to skim over. 8D
Speaking of skimming, I read everything on my f-list. I don't always comment, but I DO read it. :3
