Introductions

I'm sitting in a smallish restaurant/diner right now. It's almost completely empty except for the two employees and the two men talking animatedly at the other end of the room. It's like those places in movies, with the buzz of the radio over speakers and the never quite clean counter top. Every once in a while the waitress comes over to ask if I want another glass of water. I nod or shake my head and she tries a quick glance at the napkin I'm writing on, but my handwriting is illegible.

I've always had this compulsion to write out my days on napkins whenever I end up in a place like this on my own (which happens often enough, oddly). Sometimes I stuffed the random bits of life into my pockets, but most of the time they would end up in the trash.

I stumbled upon this site completely by accident and after looked around for a bit I figured I could try it out. If anything, it's a way to keep my life out of the trash (figuratively more than literally, I hope). So here it is...

My name is Braeden Alek, I just moved to Montreal about a week ago from this small place in the country. To keep it short I moved out of my parents' place for various reasons, and chose to live in the city because I knew someone who could get me a decent job. So far everything is a bit shaky... I haven't gotten a hold of the guy for the job and haven't been able to get hired anywhere else, but I'm pretty sure I'll manage. Anything else, well... just ask, I guess.
