Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me...
So it's morning and I am awake, who figured? Can't sleep, so why bother laying in bed anymore? Perhaps it is going to be one of those days I have the energy and the drive to really get things done... if not I will probably crash out for a nap in a couple hours.
Not much really going on to be honest...
My mom isn't talking to me, or she has gone awol... No idea what is going on, but her cell phone is out of minutes and the number she gave me rings off the hook. I am kinda worried, but I figure that she will call me when she wants to talk. I can't chase her everywhere and I have to hold her accountable to the choices she makes.
I hurt my wrist vacuuming... Fairly badly. Sprained at least. It has been broken once and is apparently a lot more delicate than I imagined. So much for strength training that way. Me and my brilliant ideas. So I have to be careful with the SCA fighting for a bit at least. I think I am actually going to put a brace on it to help protect it from anymore damage. Typing sucks.
Bailed on practice last night to finally go see pirates. It was fun, but a bit weird. Enjoyed the Elizabeth character. I was a tad disappointed that they missed some obvious opportunities for coolness, but whatever. I think I was a bit too tired to get really excited about it.
In the meantime I am working on a banner for Ian so he can enter the championship tourney. My first foray into applique. Scary. I am starting it pretty late, but it will have to do. I have offers for help, but it was really something I wanted to do for him myself. Maybe I am just being silly. It is possible... I am going to walk into town and get some supplies and see how difficult it turns out to be.
