Three cheers!

Well well, I have gotten up early, showered, made breakfast, sent Ian to work, and now have a little time to myself to update finally. I know I know...but I HAVE been buay.

Got myself a job (thus the awake). I am doing secretarial at GC Strata Management. THANK YOU ANGIE!!! You rock my little world. Good pay, good hours, close to home, so pretty much my perfect job. Yay me!

I have started a combat training regimen at the gym. It is crazy, but totally awesome. I did better than I thought. I still have some very obvious weaknesses, like my arms are pathetic. THANK YOU MEGAN!!! You are my inspiration. I now feel muscles I never knew I had. Yay me!

Work on the Outpost Tavern is progressing well. We had a work meeting this Sunday. THANK YOU SEAN, LORI AND HALEY!!! You guys are awesome for braving the rain and coming to lend your support and help. This is going to be a great event and you guys are going to be a big part of it. Yay us!

Last, but not least, Ian and I decided at 10 pm last night that our apartment was setup totally lame. As a result it was not being used to it's best advantage. Things were just getting stupidly cluttered as I moved things around looking for space to work. So we started gutting the place and created a lovely entertaining/relaxing space in the living/dining room area. the other room will be converted into an effective working space for arts/crafts and Ian's computer. THANK YOU IAN! The energy of the place is already so much more welcoming and home-like. It is time to nest. Ian jokes that it must mean that we will be moving soon. i think that we are going to settle in for at least the next 6 months for job and money to stabilize, then take a real look at our future. Yay us!

I am feeling strong, and proud and like myself again. I am feeling like perhaps I can finally heal and shake off the malaise that has been haunting me. I can leave behind the damage that Steve and my mother did. I am a lioness.

Thank you all for sticking by me.

health, home, work, emp, friends
