what a piece of s**t - goodlink should be called sh*ttylink.
the company bought another company.
and we're migrating. the office location, and the 'datacenter' including our mail server.
i used to be able to check my work emails on my treo. using the pop3.
now that they migrated the email server, the only way to get work emails on the treo is thru goodlink.
the name goodlink, does not suit the app entirely.
it's a piece of crap.
after the install - that required a hard reset! - goodlink took up most of the memory on the phone) and it took over the nice calendar and contacts that came from palm. they all became goodAddressBook, and goodCalendar. wth.
and goodlink resets my treo multiple times a day. what the hell.
moreover, it took over the shortcuts. the shortcut that palm has set to default to sms, now goes to goodlink. and once i changed it, it knows...oh it knows...and it does a reset and changes it back.
for the love of gawd...
i googled . and i wasnt the only one with the reset problems.
and i wasnt the only one complaining about how goodlink takes over the device.
whoever invented it must be a dictator of some sort.

a user posted in the forum that if he had too many emails in the inbox, goodlink would reset. this never happens with pop3 snapper! bah! humbug!
so i've cleaned up my inbox and i'm going to see how it behaves in the next 24 hours - and if the antics dont stop, i'm going to do a hardreset. get rid of every single trace of the piece of crap. and if i truly need to check my email - i'll use the crappy webmail.
pffthhh.
when people migrate, it should be for the better. pfffthhh...that's just me, i guess. coz i cant comprehend this - going to goodlink that has a monthly fee and it's a piece of junk that ruins the treo? arghhh...

it keeps wanting to connect to the internet, even though i told it to work offline. and exit.
