So this isn't in response to your post but I have a question for you.

Would the Clown Box be interested in doing a free half time show for the Denver Roller Dolls? They need to know before Friday and I will see them on Wednesday. I know it's short notice but the shows wouldn't be until next April and May. Let me know what you think, Chloe has my number if you want to call me for more info. I just heard about it and I thought it'd be a good oppurtunity for you guys.

Probably not. We try to keep free performances for non-profit events, and especially in Denver where we're highly unlikely to pick up any new audience for our regular shows in FC, the free advertising/exposure wouldn't help us that much. That said, it does sound *fun*, so I will check with the guys and see if they're interested. :)

I'm completely going to hate myself for asking, but do you participate in this roller derby madness?

I'm just a recruit right now but I'm hoping to make the cut in Feb. I am mostly volunteering with advertising and track security. There is an upcoming bout this Friday if you have never been to one of the events. It's at 7 at the Collisium, you can see me in my offical Roller Dolls t-shirt telling people to stay off the track.
