that having a laptop would make working outside of my house more appealing.
I decided to venture out to a cafe for some iced tea and a moment to spend outdoors. Certainly, I have little time for enjoyment that doesn't include work, so I figured that I could take my laptop and do a little editing. It seemed to work at first, and sure, I got some editing done - but at the end of it all, I was glad to be heading home. It just didn't give me any kind of happiness. Though the clutter of my desk may bother me at times, it seems I can work more comfortably here.
Perhaps this will be my moment of reminder that sometimes home is a good thing, especially when it requires my utmost of concentration. A guy sitting at the table next to me having an argument on his cell phone just isn't conducive. I'll try it again another time, but perhaps in a more peaceful locale.
Go figure.
