update on the clot.
9/30 was our ultrasound to check on the clot, and also our regular prenatal appt. we had the appt first, and heard the heartbeat at 148. talked a little about how i havent been bleeding, and when i was it was only brown, and that was a good thing. then i went for the ultrasound.
the clot is still there, and they didnt think it had grown or shrunk. also, i have a complete placenta previa. this MAY resolve itself as my uterus gets bigger. it might be pulled up to where it belongs. if not, it will probably mean bed rest and definitely mean a c section. i'm okay with that, as long as i make it that far. they said hopefully by my next ultrasound, in four weeks, the previa and clot will both have resolved. im also worried coz my 20 week appt will be my last one with this OB. i love them, and am scared to switch while i have so much going on. but we're moving 3 hours away so i dont have much choice.
the good news is, we are having a BOY! just like we wanted. in a way, this makes me even more worried. i'll be sooooo disappointed that we lost the baby, who knows if we'll be lucky enough to have another boy next time.
so, october 26th, i have a level 2 u/s, and then my regular 5 month prenatal appt. hopefully we get much better news. i am still on pelvic rest. no sex, no cleaning, no lifting, extra careful all the time. i may bleed VERY heavily due to the previa, and have to be rushed to the hospital by ambulance. i really hope that doesnt happen.
