HBO, as part of the publicity, I guess, for Generation Kill, about marines at the start of the invasion of Iraq, are donating various items to the troops still out there. For every donation someone makes, they send something else in that person's name.
There's no charge for donating, as all the stuff has been donated to them by the company it comes from.
The only snag is, you can't do it with a UK email address (I know, I tried all three of mine). So this is the closest I get to being able to do something - if you do have an American email account, click on the link above, and then the troop drive link on the website and send something.
