Aww, these are fantastic! sad, sweet, charming and funny, together they weave a tapestry of life. I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite, but I think #38 broke me.
I can imagine John thinking of Cam's family as being the kind of family he'd have liked to be part of as a kid, and so he can't see yet that he gets to be part of it *now*. But I'm sure Cam's mom will bring him around.
My angst-loving soul likes this pairing so much *because* of the moments when they're forced to acknowledge that they can't have a proper relationship and their jobs, but that they want to keep going anyway - that it's worth the heartache. Which is probably why I keep writing around The Return.
This is lovely. I like Cam-the-romantic, which certainly rings true, and I love the idea of him thinking about trying to send flowers through the gate.
This made me realize that poor Cam gets the short end of the stick in both Unending and The Last Man--always living the endless years without John, while John either doesn't know or is too busy to really have to face not having Cam.
I also love your depiction of John bringing Cam to meet Dave. And of John dancing with Sam at her wedding and making her look good doing it. And their first real date just before the SGC goes public. This is a great history of the two of them.
Oh, oh, oh! This is so amazing. I love your turns of phrase, and the lovely understated imagery and emotion here that's still so very layered and heartfelt.
Thank you! I loved being able to just write about them, without needing a plot to carry it through, and to put in all the little things I've got in my head but never had a story for.

Meep! Oh Cam.
John, half-asleep, leaned into Cam’s hand in his hair and muttered, “I wish I could take you with me.”
Aww, lovely. ♥
These are all excellent.

And me; I had it in the first Cam/John story I wrote, and I've been waiting for another chance to use it ever since :)

He really does... Though I bet Cam in our universe uses the thought of Cam in TLM universe as a way to bribe John into comfort sex.
