Oh, I love this! A really nice, intelligent read that feels so in keeping with the show. As ever, lovely to see the city from the perspective of someone who isn't part of Team Sheppard, and everyone's appearances here were pitch-perfect.

As much as I love the main team, the secondary characters are a lot of fun to play with :)

This is really fantastic; such a thoughtful exploration of Lorne. The world building is marvelous, tiny increments and peeks at the everyday life of a future Atlantis, and they're so hopeful. I like that the Athosians decide to go back to living on the mainland. The gang that has assembled itself around Lorne is fantastic, too, it really emphasizes the fact that they're a community within a community.

Sheppard is kind of opaque, until the very last, and even though you barely describe it, I can imagine the look on his face as he glances at Lorne. the ending is just lovely.

Thank you!

I love writing the little day-to-day bits (they're my favourite part of the show as well), and the friendships between various people - I mean, they've been in the city for the better part of a decade at this point, they have to have bonded :)

Oh I love this! I adore Lorne, so it's nice to get a good look into his head. I love the way you've shown his friendships and work relationships and how life on Atlantis seems real and normal. I just want to pat him on the head and make him cookies :)

Thank you! Lorne is eminently lovable, though he definitely needs cookies here :)

Oh! I love the changes you made - it flows so beautifully, and that last scene is just gorgeous...

Thank you, and thank you again for all your advice - it wouldn't have been anything like this without you.
