“Also, I’m not sure I think much of your taste in men. It may actually be worse than your taste in women.”

::snerk::

Seriously, though, I loved this - the way the memory of Cam slid so easily into the rescue, and Rodney letting him know it would be okay...

Thank you! I think Rodney still hasn't forgiven Cam for threatening him with a lemon back in Pegasus Project. He'll probably go out of his way to find Cam next time they're on Earth and warn him that Rodney can make his life very unpleasant if he hurts John, while Cam stares at him blankly and wonders what the hell that's all about, since John never thought to mention that he kind of let slip that they're together.

Not that I've thought about it or anything :)

I really enjoyed this! I love how disjointed John is and his dry sense of humor. This is an awesome response to the challenge. Thanks!

Oh I really like this. I love how Cam is the safe memory that John goes to and I love Rodney's reaction.

Thank you! Rodney's going to hold this over John for a *long* time, I think, while simultaneously being weirdly supportive.

So sad, but great. Thanks. I love John/Cam. Now there needs to be a reunion.

Good fic! There was angst, and drama, and humor - what's not to love? I do think this is my favorite line though: John laughs, even though it hurts, and thinks about telling the next alien woman who wants him for his body, ‘sorry, I’m taken, and he’s a damn good shot.’ It just made me giggle - a wonderful contrast to the angst.

Thank you. I don't know what it is about these two that keeps me writing angst, but I'm glad the bits of humour worked for you.
