Tired from a Trip

I am still tired and my extremities are still in pain. My family drove to Hollywood yesterday and went to the Universal Studios. We were one of the earliest people to arrive in the park. As an advantage to getting there ahead of time, it is not hard to fall in line because there was no huge build-up of people falling in line.

We went to see Shrek 4-D first which is childish for me but its pretty cool. And then we proceeded to the Studio Tours. Surprisingly, there was a set currently shooting there and guess who were there? We passed by one of the stages and Halle Berry along with Lucy Liu and some other guy and girl actor that i don't know or just didn't recognize. They waved to us. Most of the sets there were old according to my uncle who have been there twice. One of the latest sets there was the scene from the upcoming Tom Cruise movie "The War of the Worlds". It was a plane crash site in a neighborhood. After, we went to eat lunch take some souvenir pictures around while waiting for the time schedules of other shows. We then went to see the "back to the future" (for me, it was boring). Next we did "Jurassic Park". I didn't know that they're gonna plunge us 4-5 story buildings down the river. After doing that thing, We all decided to go and see the newest attraction in the park, "Revenge of the Mummy; The Ride". When everybody learned that it is an indoor roller coaster, the females in my family backed-out, still with their shaking bodies that resulted from their jurassic experience. My dad and my uncle also got scared but not my brother, my other uncle, and of course, yours truly. After all the deliberation, the three of us went to fall in line. It was gonna be a long wait because people are starting to gather up, it's noontime. Then they announced about the single rider program. The three of us decided not to go together to speed up our waiting time. And so we did. We only waited for 5 mins to get in. This ride is the coolest of them all in this park. It is an indoor roller coaster with scenes from the movie. It is a suspense-thriller because they take you in a cold, andvery dark ride inside. In continues around and then it suddenly stops to take you the other way around back to the finish line where they blind you with a mist of banana scent.

After seeing it we went to see "Backdraft" and Special Effects. We also watched Terminator 2: 3D which is a kick-ass. Is really cool combining a real life actor, the robotic prop and the 3D movie. Not to mention and the light and wetting effects inside the auditorium. And then we walked around, and entered Dracula's Fortress, the "Van Helsing" attraction. We thought that it's a sort of a ride like the mummy, but it was actually a horror house. It wasn't scary at all but what made me scream to hell was when I was filming my experience inside some dude randomly appeared in front of me. i was shocked and screamed. My aunt laughed at me. Don't worry it was a man-scream.

Everybody needed to take a little break until we went to see "Waterworld". It is the best show in the park. I actually captured every scene with my camera. My family got wet because all of the were seating and front. I decided to go up the bleachers so that my camera won't get wet just in case. Also, you get the best viewing area up there. You see everything. For the conclusion of our day in the studios, we all went to see "Animal Planet; Live". Lassie was there and some other animal-actors like the bird in Ace Ventura. My little sister and my cousin also went to take pictures with some of the cartoon and marvel characters. We then took pictures around the Universal City walk and drove home. We all felt hungry while we are still around downtown LA. My couldnt remember the way to the Filipino restaurant so we just went to look for the nearest Denny's on our way. We found it at Anaheim, ate and stayed to see Disneyland's fireworks display.
