Marginalization
Ok so this has really been bugging me lately and for all who read my journal I want you to read this and understand it. Last night a certain person made a comment that just seriously pushed me over the edge. I realize that I spent my first year of college at UTSA, an institution that most people think is a joke and it might well be that. But please, when I tell you that my GPA was a 3.4 overall with a 3.6 in the second semester or that I made dean's list for the second semester, dont think that I sat on my ass all year or that it was just a breeze. I worked hard for what I got and unlike 30% of the CAP students at UTSA, I achieved my goal and got the GPA to get into UT. When people tell me "oh you got that GPA just cuz you went to UTSA" all I really have to say is FUCK YOU!!!!!! Maybe because I didnt get a higher GPA or because I had to work for the GPA I got that makes me stupid but you know what, Im proud of what I did and I really hate being marginalized. So the next time you want to slame me and what I have accomplished, tell me the last thing you did that you thought was great and let me totally bash you for that.
