But I'll be damned if a memory's gonna lay me down...
Hey all! Please don't even ask why I am up so early! This is actually kinda sleeping late for me, and I am debating on calling Melissa right now to wake her butt up, but I guess I can be nice and save it for another day. Something cruel and unusual about doing it on a weekend, I guess. And of course, it's pouring out. I would be fine with it if I didn't have to drive to Poughkeepsie today, but that's OK. I know that we also needed this rain for a while.
OK so let me see...what has been going on...
This week was exhausting with everything going on. Had psycho amounts of assignments and projects due this week, and with midterms coming on Thursday, you can bet that I am killing myself right now. The intership is going well, I just can't believe that people can be so stupid sometimes. And I don't mean anything against all my clients, but jeeze, there are a few that are just plain stupid. Really 3 that I can think of, but man! Just stupid! This long weekend isn't really a long weekend for me, sine I don't have classes on Monday anyways, and you can bet that Sal isn't even going to think about closing the bar that night. And I don't think that I could really afford it anyways. Covering for Patti tomorrow at the bar, then Friday night for Shawn, so I am def. looking forward to the extra cash. Still need to put my car in the shop, so now I think next week will be the week to do it.
People that are trying to get me to be bothered my the recent events in their lives are just plain pathetic. I have come to that simple conclusion. Pathetic. I don't care what goes on in your life, and since you are no longer part of mine, I really don't care how bad you screw yours up.
Plans for going to VT were cancelled on my part. Turns out mom wanted to spend all day today shopping at the outlets and such, and with me trying to save money, that wouldn't have worked out very well. Plus, it's a long weekend, and I am sure the campus will be pretty much empty. But no biggie. I will make it there sometime soon.
Other than that, nothing else really going on. Just finding out more and more how much I want to get the hell out of this place. No, not want, but rather need. But I have accepted that, and and just going with it. VT, Florida, Mississippi, Virginia, or someplace else, just as long as it's not here.
