aimless meandering

god.

what the hell was beck thinking when he wrote seachanges? and why the hell am i listening to this right now?

so overall, i can't complain at this point. i have a new job where i started out at the end of march as a supervisor(!) in the business intelligence division of a company that boasts asset protection services, fleets of bullet-proof BMWs, and lots of covert investigative stuff for the corporate world.

but hell if any of that matters when the apartment i come home to is empty after a long day at work. i predict my office hours only growing longer over these next 3-4 weeks. i would be an awful workaholic if i were completely on my own all the time.

the fact that china is all over the news not only for the usual economic stuff, but now for a host of political issues ranging from japan to taiwan to n. korea to the US really kind of makes me sick of this place in a way that isn't usually the case.

there really was absolutely no point to this post, i realize. i think i just needed to see my thoughts typed out in front of me to just feel a little less alone.

okay, i'm starting to annoy myself with this entry.

the end.
