I've posted before about a recipe for brie stuffed mushrooms, found on ThePioneerwoman.com. They are always a big hit, and I wanted to make them again.
But what better way to improve on something, then I donno, add CHEESE. a LOT of CHEESE!
So, to begin:
Garlic, onion, mushrooms, bread, wine....how can it go wrong??
I needed one clove of garlic, but look at the size of this thing! It's huuuuge! It's ok though, my mushrooms can be extra garlic-y.
So I skipped a couple of steps in the process, like sautéing the onions with the garlic, green onions, and thyme in butter. Then pouring that over a couple cups of grated, sharp white cheddar with a touch of Parmesan cheese.
Resulting in this:
Then becoming this:
Oh. my. goodness.
I don't have a picture of the final product because I ate all of them. Very quickly. (with a little help from Chase)
