It's pretty much a party here.
Katie is here visiting me. She came into San Antonio Wednesday and stayed with her friend there. Chris and I drove to Christy's on Thursday, picked her up and went to Katie's friend's house. Her friend seemed nice and has 2 little boys near my nephews' ages so maybe they can be friends. We hung out for a little bit there and then went to Willie's for lunch. We drank 3 pitchers of margaritas and then decided to go to back toward Christy's house. We picked a bar called Kennedy's and had more beers until I decided it was time to head home. We dropped Christy off at home and drove back to Round Rock. I called Mangia and ordered a Chicago style deep dish pizza for pick up. Chris stayed home, we went to Spec's and then picked up the pizza. Katie and I had some pizza and then called it a night.
I could hardly sleep I was so excited.
Chris left for work this morning and I laid around waiting for Katie to wake up. She came in and we decided to go to the library exhibit that she's interested in. I whipped up some croissants and then we went down to Austin. We found the Harry Random Library and saw the Gutenberg Bible and an exhibit on censorship. That one was crazy, it had this book of nursery rhymes, like Mother Goose stuff, with all the bad parts blacked out.
Peter, Peter the pumpkin _____. Had a wife and couldn't _____ her.
It sounds dirtier with the stuff blacked out.
We tried to go ride a mechanical bull but they didn't open until like 8pm. So instead we went to the Iron Cactus and had lunch and margaritas. Then we went to Allens to look at wonderful boots. Then we decided to go home and chill out.
Tomorrow we are getting pedicures at the place with margaritas and then back to my place for wine and painting!! Gonna be awesome.
In fact I am thinking about having some wine right now.
