Occupy place.
I understand what the movement is about. I understand that the economy is bad and that like 1% of the people hold like 99% of the wealth. What I do not understand is how occupying a space will convince rich people to give up money and stop being so rich. How is occupying a space going to provide more jobs, better healthcare, a living wage or improve anything in general? Yes, occupiers get attention, but if 99% of the people hold 1% of the wealth, then I am pretty sure that the 99% knows they aren't rich. I also think that if occupiers did not get the attention, they probably wouldn't occupy at all. Plus they wouldn't get pepper sprayed which, from what I can tell, sucks.
