I think not Baby Puppy.
I so should be doing homework and studying right now. i have two tests and a quiz on thursday, none of which I'm worried about, but I still need to study. Usually I wait till the day before and spend the whole day getting everything done and just focusing on school, but i can't do that tomorrow. Bc tomorrow we're getting a puppy! :) I is so excited. We've been talking about getting a small dog when Sophie passed, Dad has always wanted a small dog. Then seeing how she's been acting around other dogs and her age having have made her more tolerable towards other dogs, we've been thinking about going ab head and getting a little dog. We've had two small dogs visit our house that belonged to friends and family and she would follow them around and try to mother them. So after some looking around on petfinder and seeeing a few we were interested in, we went to Safe Animal Shelter in Middleburg to look around. After Mom saying she didn't want a Chihuahua, or a dog that would bark all the time or lift his leg on the furniture, and after Mom saying it was suppose to be Dad and Josh and I picking it out (Johnny's not very interested in getting another dog), She ended up picking out an adorable male chocolate Chihuahua Mix about 6 months old, almost full grown. We spent an hour holding him and loving on him and filling out the adoption form. We got a call yesterday saying he was being nuetered today and we get to take him home tomorrow. We're all so excited. After visiting him, we let Sophie sniff our clothes and told her she was getting a puppy. We've been saying telling her she gets a puppy, and where's the puppy and she gets all excited. the shelter opens at 11 and Mom and i are the only ones home then, so we're going to go get him and then when Dad gets home we're going to take him to petsmart/petco and get him a collar, leash and doys, and most likely a new bed for him and Sophie. We're been throwing around names since we had him in our arms. The shelter gave him the name Starbuck, but i think the family has decided on either Simon or Jake and i think everyone is leaning towards Jake. I hope to have pictures up as soon as possible to show off his cuteness :)
