ITALY::
Italy was awesome. oh my gosh it was just gorgeous there, i mean everywhere that you went there was some old with the new and just the way things are built there is amazing. we landed in Milan. some of the highlights were Capri. there i almost broke my foot on a rock. i got to go to the hospital cause i couldnt walk on it for a few hours. went to my first club. rode on my first metro...that was an experience. got my butt pinched in rome. met a lot of guys. finally got see Michealangelo's David....so gorgeous, so perfect..it mad my mouth drop. saw the pope, and the pieta(another sculpture). went to the coloseum, and got to go inside the vatican...ate to much pizza and pasta. had some gelato. and went shopping. i want to go back to capri and seranto just because it was so beautiful the way everything was set high on the hills and on the oceans edge. some lady started calling me names and spat on me...i just laughed and stared at her wondering if there was something wrong with her head on in her head or her life for the matter of speaking...but she just might've not like americans...she called me an elephant and told me i should go home...i laughed just had a perplexed look like "...ooookkkkk..." i found numerous ways to sleep on a coach bus, and woke up numerous times to the snoring of the person in front of me. on the plane some guy pinned me in my seat by leaning his chair all the way back, so i had no room to move whats so ever. watched 6 movies on the plane. but overall...its an amazing country, though you have to be really carefully with your belongings...its so much fun...especially when you just over the spin toll just to get into the bathroom cause you dont want to pay ,50 euros to use it...but its a country that i recommend people to go to but to stay longer than ten days so you can take in all the splendor and wonder of it all.
MEXICO::
texico was fun....a lot of drama though. lets see highlights....played some street ball every day. swam everyday. painted a church. had a bible club for little kids....some of the guys found out about what mountain dew does to them, though i think its a wifes tale...had a battle of the sexes thursday night. went to the beach friday. just had fun overall...the only sad thing was that it really didnt feel like a missions trip at all. but oh well it was still fun.
now. i'm working, looking for another job, and trying to keep my cool. my mum has been pissed off at me and i've somewhat become the slave of the house just because i dont have that many shifts. but i get to sleep in which is good cause i havent been able to get to sleep past 2:30 in the morning. i finally got my pictures which makes me happy, theres over 500 of them and i think i'm missing some still. went to the lake last friday and had a blast. going back on monday for the fourth. my books are coming along great. and i was a fool to ever think that someone like him could ever have the same feeling for me as i have for him...working on diminishing that. i've found out that i'm like a character in one of nora roberts books, and its sort of funny. my sister and i are starting a diet sometime soon. and i'm starting to work out more so i can get back into shape before school starts. which i'm overly excited about. i think thats all. i hope everyone has had a wonderful summer vacation.
