Guess who's Asst. Drum Major?
BAND BANQUET WAS AWESOME!!!!!! I GOT ASSISTANT DRUM MAJOR!!! WHOOO HOOO!!! and congrats to Ed Kim for getting head drum major, it'll be interesting working by him, he's pretty funny.
I was so nervous, I didn't think I'd get it...they were announcing section leaders. I tried out for clarinet AND mellophone section leader, and of course drum major. Clarinet section leaders: Eric Ruckman and Anthony Moon (congrats to both, but heck no, I better get something if Moon gets section leader, lol) ...Mellophone section leader: Gaby Diaz (congrats)...ok if I didn't get drum major I'd cry my eyes out. Nemo announces "Ok, here is the moment you've all been waiting for...the drum majors". He hands the mic over to (asst. drum major) Zahieb..and he says "Your 04-05 asst. drum major is....Jessica Stam!" and people were screaming!!! I was so happy. I went up in front of everyone and he put the whistle around my neck and gave me a hug. Then Kristiana gave me a hug. Then Stacy gave me a card and a hug. Then Roxy, then the rest of the world. lol. Seriously..like people I didn't even know congradulated me! I'm so happy!!! Whoo hoo!

Yay! I get to watch my brother at his 8th grade promotion next Wednesday. That's gunna be awesome. I can't wait. Congrats Chuck!
