1. I will tell you the origin of his/her/its name: Red goes by her name because it's properly descriptive without revealing too much about her. Khiara is her given name (thus too powerful to use), and Darkheart was the name she was given when she went back to tell her story.

I will tell you (up to) five random facts surrounding his/her/its creation: a) most of her behavior was what my grandmother taught me ladies should behave like. so it's a lot of Lady Macbeth style manipulation. b) kev played such an awesome dark elf, i wanted in on that type of roleplay, but i knew i couldn't do that type of makeup(especially in texas) c) i designed her when i knew i was getting out of academia and into corporate america. so i needed a sandbox to develop the skills of thinking one thing, saying another and managing perceptions. d) i loved sleeping beauty as a kid and watched it alot. only when i watched it again recently, did i see how much of maleficent got into red subconsiously (even the big black dragon part). e) i didn't think of how NOT PG-13 she'd end up being, and thus I've gotten in trouble for it (a chapter owner even told me to tone the sexual innuendo down).
