Divergence

It's been quite a while since I've posted here. But, as usual, lj fills me a warm, fuzzy, nostalgic feeling that doesn't subside until I remember that so few people probably read this anymore it's not really of consequence. And to you, my dear readers: Thank you for your devotion.

Now, on to semi-important things. The good news is, after a semester-long absence from school, I am registered for classes and poised to start classes on the 3rd of next month. Finances, unfortunately, are still a bit fuzzy--but I have unrolled in classes under the guidance of my mother who reassured me it would get paid for. I do feel comforted by the fact that she is wayyyyy more financially secure than she has been in her entire life. I just would like to finish two semesters of college concurrently. Or, you know...even experience a spring semester, actually.

After working my working my rear end off at two jobs in Minnesota for the past 6 months, I am enjoying my time off. I do need to find another Starbucks in Chicago before they fire me, but frankly I've had trouble working up the effort to care. This feeling is reinforced by my bank account, which hasn't particularly suffered after climbing back from my college debt...Living rent-free has its advantages, that's for sure. Unfortunately, freedom isn't necessarily one of them.

God I can't wait to get back to my real life. Chicago, here I come.
Now I'm tired. I think I shall devote my next post solely to matters of the heart. I might have to lj-cut that just for good measure, fyi.
