To our returing Champion.
After having to leave home and family to go to Philadelphia, amid various struggles and strife, against challenges and unscrupulous creatures of every size, shape and level of malice, the young and talented Denise Lacen brought her graduate collection to the 2008 Drexel Fashion Show.
With her vision firmly in mind and backed by the pulsing sounds of KMFDM’s “Mortal Kombat”, Lady Lacen’s art strode on that runway with passion and originality. Each piece receiving more gasps and applause, until her crowning achievement. An outfit which sealed her place as the last presenter because, as her teacher stated, “It would be a crime not to finish off with that!” An outfit which not only caught our hearts, but also the following achievements:
The Frank Agostino Award for Excellence in Design, Construction, and Workmanship
The David’s Bridal Award for Best Evening Wear
and Best of Show.
Many Congratulations to you for getting what you deserved for all the work you undertook. Your family and friends are nothing short of blessed to have you.
