I went on the TV Guide website last night to check on viewing options for the gym, and I couldn't resist reading this spoiler for a January Castle episode.
I never made the connection that the actress who plays Meredith also plays Shannon Gibbs on NCIS! Of course, I wouldn't have known when I started watching Castle because I hadn't yet started NCIS, but I just re-watched Always Buy Retail last week, and I still didn't catch it. I guess it's because the two characters are so utterly different? Also because the flashbacks to Shannon are fairly rare and Meredith has only been in the one episode. Nevertheless, this fact makes me ridiculous happy for some reason :)
Also, this episode is going to be so much awkward, territorial fun! Another instance of the writers writing canon fanfic for us ;) I can't wait!
