Yes! Yes! I was waiting for this :D I love you so much! Uuun Sanji angst and wow there was actually a lot of things that I haven't thought about before and they are so true about Sanji and Zoro! And it was so well-written! Definietly one of my favourite OP stories. Just one question...I didn't really got this but who was the story-teller? Usopp? D: or just...

All right so my mind centers a little on the guys and it may sometimes junk this-n-that when reading...BUT I GET IT NOW!! :D hahaha *completeididot*
But srsly thanks, I'm hungarian and we don't have a word like that(seeing that english uses the original german name) we simply call them kobold so I had no idea what it is and I don't think I payed much attention to it when actually reading the fic D: but well...you learn something new every day xD

I actually didn't know what a Klabautermann was either before I read OP. I mean, I was familiar with kobold from other mythologies, but Klabautermann seems to be a specific form of kobold?

If I can ask, do you read Hungarian scans of the manga? Do they use kobold instead of Klabautermann to refer to the spirit of Merry and Sunny?

Nooo I started watching op eng-dubbed and later I just couldn't get used to it on my own language. And sadly I haven't been reading the manga at all until recently (well somewhere around Marineford)-I know. Blasphemy.- and it's only now that I go back to reread some of it as well as rewatch the first eps in japanese. As of the anime I don't remember at all any klabautermanns though if it's in the manga it has to be mentioned, and it is either Franky or Iceburg saying it since the Navarone arc is filler(there was a guy who spoke about it to Usopp) But the word itself just wouldn't ring a bell.
I think it's the best for everyone if I just go to read some manga now instead of taking up the whole comments section and your time ;__;

I'm actually the opposite. I've read all the manga chapters but I've only seen a handful of the episodes in Japanese (oh, and the movies!). You're right, Klaubatermanns were first mentioned by Franky during the Water 7/Enies Lobby arc, after he kidnapped Usopp. Usopp also saw Merry's Klabautermann briefly in Skypeia, but it wasn't explained to us then. But yeah, the word itself isn't really important-- just that Merry and Sunny are also cherieshed nakama <3
