more Buddhist crap

I think the disappointment that stems from the realization that money (rather than intelligence or work) is the determinant of success or mobility or whathaveyou, is caused mostly by the fact that all means of public communication and entertainment preach the opposite. So I say, fuck 'em. If you haven't noticed, I added Fussell's Class to my amazon wishlist, but I haven't really summoned the ambition to actually buy it yet... sometimes things go to that list to die...

But I feel encouraged by this, encouraged by truth, in whatever fucking form it manages to come out. So you could struggle to become the lowest of the high, or fight it out with the reals. I mean, if you don't want to be on that middle-class snobby shit-list. This is all old hat to most people out there, and I hate reading people who work through their metaphysics clumsily, in blog form, but I guess anything that gives revelations you can act on could be useful to somebody. [Note: the internet subculture of people working out their relative forms of atheism are almost as bad as the Christian zealots, who win at sucking only because they just don't give a damn]

So? What to do? Just stop worrying.

If you live the sacred and despise the ordinary,
you are still bobbing in the ocean of delusion. Lin-Chi

For all this, my main obstacle is my inability to ask questions anymore... At least, questions related to facts. I might be too old for school.
