Social Networking
So...LJ begins to feel like a vast internet desert. A once thriving social networking site where I've exchanged ideas, opinions and rants with some of the most creative, opinionated, and interesting people that I've ever met (virtually speaking).
Now it seems so different.
So many people just don't come here anymore.
One person I know even recently referred to Facebook as the lazy man's Live Journal.
Perhaps.
Personally I prefer LJ. A reader's social network. I've always thought of it as more of a site to debate and share ideas rather than to let someone know what bar I'm heading to. It isn't as though I can throw stones. I've been long absent from these halls. But I've remembered lately. Remembered many things of great importance on a personal level. This place happens to still be one of them.
