2007 Best SF Magazine Issues for Fiction

Basically, these all have electronic issues. Hub's weekly didn't have a stretch that would have qualified, and didn't get around to Strange Horizons. There are a couple of Clarkesworld/Ideomancer I haven't got to from 2007, but the probability of those making this list is pretty much nil from a quick look. There are only 3 Interzone electronic issues, as they just started.

I will just compare these on the average for the fiction in each issue, not overall - the list would be different then.

From those I read, that is, here are those that had an average above 3.50.

4.00 New Ceres 2 (2 of Australia's best ever short story writers in Stephen
Dedman and Lucy Sussex, plus Jay Lake and Cat Sparks write for this shared
world planetary romance issue - URL New Ceres Issue 2)
3.92+ Asimov's 293 (+a 2000 magazine, but I rated it this year)
3.83* Ideomancer 06 03 (*only 3 stories)
3.75 FSF 667
3.75 Andromeda Spaceways 29 (very rare to get an all above average issue,
bolstered by the 4.5 for Kevin Veale's A Day In Her Lives, easily one of the
best stories of the year that I saw, anywhere)
3.75** Clarkesworld 04 (**only 2 stories)
3.75** Clarkesworld 05 (**only 2 stories)
3.75** Clarkesworld 07 (**only 2 stories)
3.67 Interzone 213
3.64 Helix 04
3.64 FSF 665
3.63 FSF 660
3.61 JBU 09
3.60 FSF 661
3.59 Analog 916
3.58+ Asimov's 294 (+a 2000 magazine, but I rated it this year)
3.57 Asimov's 372
3.55 Asimov's 381 382
3.55 Subterranean Online 03
3.54 Asimov's 375 376
