Summary: Deaf!Dean verse. No one noticed the figure in the ER early in the morning, despite how empty the place was. No one expected to find what they did under the blanket - a sick, beaten and broken nine year old who couldn't hear a word anyone said.

Damn it I didn't want to cry today. This utterly broke my heart. If Mary Winchester knew what John has done to her baby boy....Grrr....she would pop a cap in his ass!!! Can I say how much I love the Coulters! I'll have to reread, but did Elisa Coulter ever meet John cause that is one scene that needs to be written!

I love this verse so much. This was such a heartbreaking chapter. I hope you will write more, I would really love to see some Dean and Coulters bonding.
