After roleplaying a bit, and reading some Alan Turing quotes the other day for a project I'm working on, I think I've come up with a good mutilated quote to describe my experience.
"Fun is a differential equation. Grenades are a boundary condition."
We can memeize this if we want: take a semi-famous quote and butcher it so its funny if you want:)
