I watched one of my favorite movies yesterday
The Princess Bride in case you were wondering.
It had been a while since I had seen it so I really was remembering it through rose-colored glasses.
Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy it. It's still a fun movie...
But I realized for the first time that Buttercup? Is the type of heroine* that makes me grit my teeth and yell at the page/screen to 'pick up a damn rock and hit the bastard over the head with it!' or 'Kick him in the nads, girl!' or 'Stop worrying over the damn dress, rip the skirt and steal the damn horse.'
Yeah...I might talk about this more later.
