I've been thinking about honorifics lately. I constantly and continuously want to know what they mean. But it seems as if no one ever really knows anymore, just that it is what they've always said to people that they are conferred upon.

What the hell is happening in the world? I mean, where people always this stupid or did someone put something in the water? Personhood amendments in old Mississippi are going to have repercussions no matter which way it falls. And no matter which side wins somebody is going to do something even more stupid.
Hell, I thought that post-apocalyptic distopias were a fiction trope.
