Songs playing in my head
Kisses sweeter than wine
And it's not enough

And I remember the taste of you
Bitter flesh and salt-wet tears
And it's not enough

As I stare up at the white ceiling
Where the paint is cracked and peeling
And it's not enough

Old memories haunting me
Only my conscience stopping me
And it's not enough

And I take a breath, sobbing
Turn into my pillow, hiding
And it's not enough

But I get up, go, and move
A ghost, lost in limbo, purgatory
And for you, it's enough

While inside, I scream
Scream and die.
