today was spent sitting around my apartment and my sister's doing absolutely nothing.

at 10:15 me, joanna, connie and emmy jo went to see party monster. i was excited about it but expected to be incredibly disappointed because i had read disco bloodbath (the book based on the same events) and we all know that movies are never as good as books. i ended up loving the movie. there is one scene when seth green and macauley culkin, as james st. james and michael alig respectively, are dancing to the song two of hearts or whatever it's called, and it is quite possibly the cutest thing i have seen in a long time.

the reviews about the movie said that macauley did a poor job. i agree to an extent. his acting was decent but he wasn't believable as michael. seth green totally nailed james though. he did a really good job. two thumbs up, seth.

overall i enjoyed the movie. it made me want to do drugs though. i guess that sounds stupid but i totally fall for it when the media glamorizes drug use. i am a mindless drone who wants do heroin because she saw it in a movie. but i won't. because i know better.

on our way out of the theatre some girl was slumped over in her seat crying. i guess she knew the guy who got killed. it was sad but intriguing. i wanted to talk to her but that would've been hardcore rude/insensitive. there were a bunch of "club kids" outside of the theatre after the movie too. i liked it.

after the movie we went to eat pizza at pomodoro's and connie went home and joanna, emmy and i headed over to rosemary's. tom and the gang, sans bug, were there but we didn't much feel like hanging out so we caught a cab and came home. it was already like 3 something when we got home. i guess we're party monsters. heh, i amuse myself.

i don't have much more to say.
